WHAT LED ME HERE
New Route Photography is a collection of experiences, lifetime memories and found greatness. Photos for everyone, highlighting subjects with a classic, yet abstract eye.
I grew up in Arkansas, U.S.A. where I had a classic, American upbringing and worked there into my early 20’s. Originally, I was born in El Salvador and was adopted at 9 months old. I have my mom to thank for that and am only fortunate enough to show this work as a result of her influence and companionship.
From a young age, color, texture, and shape have been elements of art that I quickly respond to and find engaging. My love for art, especially photography, has grown strong over the past 20+ years and has been enriched by far flung trips that I am blessed to have had.
A selection of my most cherished photos is displayed throughout six categories: H2O, OUTLOOKS, PERSONALITIES, SHADOWS & LIGHT, TEXTURE & GRIT, and THROUGH THE STREETS. In addition, the online store features shots from my most recent experience in Hawaii and are now available for purchase.
